i've been broken once or twice believing in the signs of a world pounding drums for enemies.
i'm over the feelings.
i'm mystified.

if all it takes is just me saying that i could have been mistaken,
no wonder why these things don't show.

she could bring me back to life breathing into these eyes the words sounding older than me in a manner of speaking.
they crystallize.

it's just a case of cold casing, of finding all the bodies.
no trace of blood or case to close.

you might raise me from the dead, from a night so desolate.
the curbs and cracks are full of creeps and things.

we went chasing northern lights.
the sun was in our eyes for days.
